One PieceandNarutostand as parallels when it comes to introducing powerful, shonen-defining villains in the series. Both Masashi Kishimoto and Eiichiro Oda go to lengths to make their heroes fight a formidable foe after story-telling the latter’s background. Such is the case with Kaido and Madara Uchiha.
Kaido is a legendary monster who is the prime antagonist of the Wano Arc inOne Piece. Uchiha Madara is a legendary junin who is considered to be the most formidable villain inNaruto. Obviously, fans have pitted the two iconic characters against each other in fantasy warfare although it is difficult not to argue that Madara won’t squash Kaido.
Here are five reasons why Madara Uchiha can beat Yonko Kaido fromOne Piece.
#1. Madara Uchiha Is More Agile Than Kaido FromOne Piece
Speed usually determines the result of any ninja battle. That being said, Madara Uchiha has pulled off some extremely impressive feats in Sage Mode such as dodging a Flying Thunder God Slash and locating enemies while being blinded. His dodge and counter capabilities increase when it comes to the Jinchūriki transformations.
Flying Thunder God Slash is considered to be faster than light. Madara not only dodged it in his Sage form but also had the quick-thinking prowess to counter it during the war arc. Much like the Naruto character, Kaido is also feared for its speed but it ain’t faster than light, and he was able to be defeated easily by Luffy who was powering his punches for a few seconds.

#2. Kaido Relies On Brute Strength In One Piece But Madara Is A Wise General
Madara Uchiha uses an assortment of clones and shadow techniques that have confused even the most determined ninjas like Naruto and Sasuke. His Limbo Hengoku is almost impossible to perceive such that Kaido may be left chasing shadows while Madara waits for an opportunity to strike after distorting reality.
One Piecefans argue that the Yonko cannot be defeated unless a character uses the Advanced Form of Haki. Yet, Madara doesn’t need to put force into use. He would just trap Kaido in an endless illusion withInfinite Tsukuyomiuntil the monster’s powers are sapped by the World Tree. No amount of Haki can break the illusion since only the dead are immune to it.
#3. Madara Uchiha Has Abilities That Make Him Immortal
Madara Uchiha is considered to be dead since Kaguya took possession of his body in the aftermath of the Fourth Shinobi War. Prior to his eventual death, Madara had been able to resurrect himself multiple times by sacrificing others and even took the powers of a Divine Tree.
Even though Madara couldn’t use his Eternal Mangekgyo Sharingan one last time due to the toll of the Demonic Statue and the Tailed Beast, that won’t be the case against Kaido. Prime Madara would be able to use the Eternal Sharingan to transfer his consciousness to another body while Kaido fromOne Piecewill eventually wear out from killing the multiple versions of the Uchiha.
Would Kaido be able to defeat Madara if he possessed Big Mom’s body? The Yonko had a soft spot for his cousin which Madara could exploit.
#4. Kaido Cannot Counter Madara Uchiha’s Genjutsu or Sharingans
Madara countered the five Kages with his supreme genjutsu technique that was fueled by Indra and Hashirama’s chakra powers. He was also on equal footing with Hashi for most of the time, one of the most insanely powerful characters in the Sage or Edo form.
It’s doubtful that Kaido fromOne Piecewill have a counter to the genjutsus of the ‘greatest Uchiha of all time.’ The possessor of the three Haki forms can bring much destruction to the surroundings but the supreme speed of Madara Uchiha will not only evade the attack but also counter it by using Nature Manipulation techniques to transform his surroundings into offense.

#5. Madara’s Perfect Susanoo Might Be A Critical Hit On Kaido
Kaido’s Zoan-type Devil Fruit makes him transform into an azure dragon. It allows him to use draconic abilities like breathing fire along with giving him a massive boost to his durability and agility. In that form, the dragon was able to withstand Gear 4 Luffy’s attacks inOne Pieceand used Advanced Conqueror’s Haki attacks with increased range.
That being said, Kaido won’t be able to survive a Complete Susanoo by Madara Uchiha. The villainous ninja has the ability to change the entire landscape with a swing of its sword, nullifying any range advantage of Kaido, while also breaking his armor with a single shot as it has no counter.
Madara also wielded Susanoo to make armor for himself and Kurama, making it a far better and stronger power source that can be used for offensive and defensive abilities as compared to Haki.
