Boruto: Naruto Next Generationsis the continuation ofNaruto Shippuden. As the name suggests, the story follows the next generations of the shinobi world with Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto Uzumaki’s son, as the main protagonist of the show. While there was a lot of hype surrounding the show, it got somewhat mediocre views considering that it was a continuation of one of the Big Three anime.

One of the main reasons for people not glorifyingBorutolike its predecessor is because they think that the show has nerfed down Naruto and Sasuke. Previously, it was just about ninja, but now the concept of time travel and aliens have kind of made it a multi-genre anime. But one thing praiseworthy aboutBorutois its animation. There are times when the animation peaked so hard that it would makeOne Piecelook like child’s play.
5Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki
The first moment where we got to see adult Naruto and Sasuke in action was in episode 65 of Boruto when they took on Momoshiki. Previous to that,Boruto’s animation was good, but it needed a pump, and that fight provided it. The animation was so good, with every detail made clear. There was zero margin of error at that point and watching our childhood heroes in action was an even greater treat. Naruto with Kurama and Sasuke with the Susano’o joining forces and defeating Momoshiki is a moment that its animation peaked.

4Kawaki Debut
Kawaki is believed to be the main antagonist ofBorutoafter he and Boruto were seen fighting during the pilot of the anime, over a destroyed Konoha. Kawaki made his debut in 189 and likewise, it was nothing short of an animation glory. The fights, details, lining, etc., were all to the point all thanks to the great animation. One Piecemight have had a great animation in the Wano arc, but the animation on Kawaki’s debut is a tough one to beat.
3Baryon Mode Naruto vs. Isshiki
Naruto turning into Baryon mode is one of the most iconic moments in the franchise. The fight between Baryon Mode Naruto and Isshiki took place in episode 217. It was nothing short of a miracle. The crystal clear taijutsu moves, proper fight sequences, graphics, etc., were all top-notch. Studio Pierrot left no stone unturned with the fight. The animation went viral for the right reasons.

2Naruto and Sasuke vs. Jigen
Whenever Naruto and Sasuke pair up, the animation is bound to be the best. Their fight with Jigen was a treat to the eyes. Studio Pierrot gave their all and went one step ahead ofOne Piecein terms of animation. Even though Jigen was too powerful for the duo, the animation did not disappoint the fandom. The silky smooth transformations, multi-shadow clone, Jigen’s taijutsu, etc., proved that Studio Pierrot is a top animation company.
1Kawaki vs. Boruto (Momoshiki)
The final fight ofBoruto: Naruto Next Generationsfeatured Kawaki and Boruto. Boruto was being controlled by Momoshiki. It was the best animation of the anime. There were no unnecessary plots, and each hit made sense. The animation was on par with the storyline. There was a lot of bad-mouthing regardingBoruto’s animation, but the last episode was enough to put an end to its doubters. The animation of which the anime concluded its first part, there will be a lot of expectations from part two.
