Back in 2017, the cast ofBlade Runner 2049appeared onThe Graham Norton Showto promote the film but one particular section got super viral as film star,Harrison Fordwas struggling to remember his co-star Ryan Gosling’s name. Pretty weird right?

While sharing his impression upon reading the film script, he stated,
“I read about the character that Ry …”

As he was hesitating, Gosling chimed in sharing, “It’s Ryan.” This little interaction quickly burst the audience into laughter but it was far from the end.
He continued telling the host about how his co-star was a great fit for his part.

“What a great part. Why don’t we see if we can get …”
He stuttered and approached his co-star for help. TheLa La Landstar reminded him of“Ryan,”while trying to hold back his laughter. Eventually, theIndiana Jonesstar decided to take his co-star’s last name but this time, the latter asked, “Did you say Rosling?”
He clarified before eventually finishing his statement,“This is a great part for Ryan Gosling.”His funny moment revolving around Gosling earned thunders of claps from the audiences as well as his fellow co-star, Reese Witherspoon, and Margot Robbie.

In the same interview, Harrison Ford shared that the film’s production team shared how they had been in touch with the 42-year-old star for months. It was quite shocking for him as he stated,
“Now, wait a second. They’d only been talking to me for weeks.”
He continued,
“So they probably would have gone ahead without me.”
The film was a sequel to the 1982 filmBlade Runnerwas critically acclaimed but still became a box-office bomb, grossing over $257million worldwide as perThe Numbers. Despite that, it is still considered a modern cult classic with the film winning two Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects. A sequel series,Blade Runner 2099is currently in development at Amazon Studios.
Meanwhile, Gosling gets reunited with his co-star Robbie in the upcoming live-action film,Barbiewhich will release in the US on July 13, 2025.
