With Ben Affleck finally leaving his Batman days behind, there are now speculations over the casting of the next actor who will play the caped crusader. The opinions obviously vary from person to person and many concept arts are circulating on social media.
One actor whose name has been linked to the character is Jensen Ackles. Casting Ackles could work as he has the look and physique of Batman. Through his performance as Soldier Boy onThe Boys, he has proved that he can play a complex and brooding character like Batman and his fans have been supporting this idea.

Is Jensen Ackles fit for the role of Batman?
James Gunn is currently working on his DC Universe. Many believed that actor George Clooney will be the caped crusader again in this universe, however, Gunn shut those rumors down. Now the hunt for the next Batman begins. There are rumors that actorJensen Acklesis shortlisted for the role and he recently acknowledged those rumors. At a press event, he was asked if he is going to play Batman, and the actor replied,
“Uh, I don’t know. Even if I knew, I wouldn’t tell you,”the actor joked. He continued,“I mean, could I do it? Sure.Would I wanna do it? Yes.Will I be mad when Pedro Pascal gets it? Yeah. God bless you, Pedro. You just keep killing it, buddy. Let me know when you pass on something.”
The actor further explained that the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike has slowed down the entertainment industry, so it’s very early to make any assumptions,
“Look, right now nobody’s talking about anything. There’s a strike going on in the entertainment industry, and until that gets solved, nobody is having conversations about anything. Would I entertain the idea of playing my favorite superhero of all time?”The actor then sarcastically said,“Nah, I’m good. It seems like a lot of work, you know. You gotta put in a bat suit and be a superhero.”
Jensen Ackles has been a fan of the character for a very long time and in hindsight, it seems like Ackles would be perfect for the role.
