More claustrophobic; making the player feel more vulnerable; making the enemies feel more physical and dangerous.”

Alan Wake 2is going to focus much more on environmental and psychological horror, than simple jump scares. It will also give players a new and exciting ability to switch between their playable character at almost any time. In this title, instead of just navigating as Alan Wake, players will also have the ability to play as FBI agent Saga Anderson.

Both stories will eventually converge, but each character is unique and will react differently to the horrors they face. The decisions each individual gamer chooses will have their own consequences, as they try to fight their way out of the horrors residing in the Pacific Northwest setting.
