The end of Attack on Titan is approaching, and fans are looking forward to the grand conclusion. Titan Assault The Final Season, Part 2 will debut on June 12, 2025, bringing the animated adaptation of Eren Yeager’s apocalyptic epic to a close. The manga’s ending by Hajime Isayama has already made a lasting impression, heightening the excitement for the anime’s big finale which was supposed to be an entirely different ending than that of the manga’s. However, the trailer indicated that the anime will have the same ending as the manga.

Attack On Titan The Final Season Rumbling

The manga’s ending is quite controversial, and even mangaka Hajime Isayama has expressed remorse for establishing things in a specific way. Fans were hoping that the anime might give the series a better ending that would be loved by fans however, that could not happen leaving the fans disappointed. However, here are 3 alternate ways the series could have ended that might have made fans happy.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead

1Eren’s Repentance Against His Actions

In the manga series, Eren plans to destroy the entire world leaving Paradis to save his people and his friends and he almost destroys the entire world but gets stopped by Mikasa who has to kill him to stop his actions. If Eren had been stopped and still would have been alive after what he had done he surely would have regretted his actions. Therefore, one ending that would have been loved by fans would be Eren After destroying almost the entire population is stopped by Mikasa or Armin and he later realizes what he has done and regrets it so much that he repents for his actions trying to build a better world. This would be similar to the ending Sasuke got in Naruto.

2Eren Removes All Titan Powers From The World

The major issue in the entire series was the power of the Titans and almost everyone wanted to have all the Titan’s power to become a better country in terms of strength against others. This was one of the biggest reasons why Attack on Titan had so much depiction of war and battles. Everyone running after the biggest strength in the entire world. In an alternate ending, Eren decides to remove all the Titan powers from the face of the world when he gets the power from Ymir when he frees her from being a slave and makes her realize that she has a will of her own. This would maybe help in removing the curse from Eldians and they could become equal to all other races making a much better ending than what was shown in the manga.

3Eren’s Plan Gets Leaked

From the beginning of the series, Eren has always required help from others to decide what’s best. Be it Armin, Mikasa, or Levi, he has always needed help with major life decisions. And when he decides something on his own, he becomes the antagonist of the series and almost wipes out humanity. A better ending would have been if Eren’s original plan about destroying the entire world and only leaving Paradis gets leaked and Mikasa, Armin, and Levi learned about it and convinced him of a better route to save Paradis and the entire world. This would have helped in stopping Eren from becoming a villain and would have made fans happy.
