The anticipation forDeadpool 3is a an all-time high as in the third installment, fans will get to see the teaming up of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, not just that, Deadpool is finally becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The creators have been working on the film for quite some time now, in fact, Reynolds began convincing Jackman to play the role in the movie sinceDeadpool 2days. In a past interview, Jackman asked Reynolds to tone it down a bit as he constantly pestered Jackman to play Wolverine. In the end, Reynolds got what he wanted.
Hugh Jackman asked Ryan Reynolds to take it easy
In May 2018, actorRyan Reynoldsappeared on ABC’sGood Morning Americato talk aboutDeadpool 2. During the interview, he was shown a video clip ofHugh Jackmanasking him to take it easy. In the video, which was captured a week before Reynolds appeared on GMA, Jackman said,
“Ryan, hey buddy, how are you, mate? Ryan, I love you man. I love Deadpool. I can’t wait to see the movie. You’re one of my best friends. Blake, the fam, the whole thing, but… back it up a little. It’s just… play a little hard to get. It’s too much. It’s not sexy. Am I right? It’s not. Sorry about that.”
WhenDeadpool 2was released, there were already rumors about Hugh Jackman’s appearance inDeadpool 3as Reynolds constantly pestered Jackman to make an appearance.

Ryan Reynolds responded to the actor
Reynolds had a good laugh after hearing Jackman’s advice and explained that he’s trying to get Jackman inDeadpool 3,
“I’ve been trying to get him to play Wolverine again and he just won’t listen. He insists on singing and dancing brilliantly elsewhere so I don’t know. I’m going to have to step up my game a little and post his cell phone number online.”
Finally, Reynolds got what he wanted, Jackman is all set to return as Wolverine in the upcomingDeadpool 3. The film is slated for release in May 2024.

Is Taylor Swift making an appearance inDeadpool 3?
There have been rumors that famous singer Taylor Swift will appear inDeadpool 3. Reynolds is a huge fan of Taylor Swift and if he has the power to convince Jackman to return, he certainly has the power to make Swift’s cameo possible.
Rumors claim that she will be playing the role of Dazzler in the movie. This won’t be the first time Swift will make an appearance in a movie as she has made several cameos in the past, but this will be her official MCU debut.
