Firefighters were swift to respond to a house where a fire erupted in the attic during a scene being filmed forTransformers 4.According to a crew member, the incident occurred during a controlled explosion. However, a photographer present at the scene speculated that faulty wiring might have been the cause of the fire. The incident brought a moment of chaos to the set, but fortunately, emergency responders were able to handle the situation promptly.
Despite the significant damage to the attic, the century-old structure was successfully preserved, preventing further destruction. The swift response of the firefighters and the efforts to contain the fire contributed to saving the remaining parts of the building from being engulfed in flames. Thankfully,Mark Wahlbergand Michael Bay weren’t harmed in the accident.
“There was one injury to a civilian who was transported to the hospital by Austin Travis County EMS,”a Pflugerville Fire Department representative told reporters. “We have no other information on this person or their injury.”
