Nia DaCosta’s recent Marvel flick left many plot holes unresolved. The Marvelsdefinitely have some complications in its narrative, which results in faltering plot holes. That’s how the film leaves behind some mysteries at loose ends that fans find hard to wrap their brains around.

Not only with its errors, but the movie couldn’t make it well in theatres, too. Critics and fans gave the film lukewarm ratings, and it didn’t land well. There’s this one plot hole that raises questions about Brie Larson’s role and undermines the $274M movie’s significance.

The MarvelsIntroduces Inconsistent Logic in Dar-Benn’s Plans
InThe Marvels, there’s an inconsistent logic behind Dar-Benn’s plans (the antagonist played byZawe Ashton) when she uses her Quantum Band to extract resources from Hala’s failing ecosystem.
She first takes the atmosphere from the Skrull refugee world and then extracts the oceans from Aladna, the musical planet. However, this narrative doesn’t provide a clear explanation of how the solution would miraculously resolve the issues occurring on Hala.

The intriguing twist is that Dar-Benn required a sun to fix Hala. To correct Hala’s own star, she plans to use the Quantum Bands to create a rift into another timeline near Earth’s sun. This introduces a gaping tear in reality. And it generated a plot hole within its own storyline.

The MarvelsLeaves Solutions to Fans’ Own Imagination
The Marvelshave some plot holes which are too big to ignore. Even though all the conflicts are resolved, the background issues in the storyline are somewhat rushed, with brief mentions.
When Aladna (the musical planet) is returning to normal, Captain Marvel tries to solve Hala’s issues by reigniting its sun. That’s when swiftly all the problems are resolved.

But the point is Hala still had no air or water. Even though the movie’s conclusion shows a positive outcome for Hala (the air concern may be addressed with resources stolen from the Skrulls and the sun being restored), the magical emergence of seas likely won’t happen. So, the film leaves it to the audience to assume that the people of Hala will find a solution to these remaining challenges.
