WhenThe Dark Knightwas busy setting records at the box office and mesmerizing fans,Robert Downey Jr.was preoccupied with criticizing the movie for its convoluted plot and yelling a large, literal “f**k you” to DC.

The Iron Man actor alleged that despite watching the entire film, he was still unable to understand the premise, much less put it together. He even continued by claiming that he needed a “college education to understand” the movie, delicately but unmercifully criticizing the plot’s apparent disarray and exaggeration.
