Marvel Studios’Daredevilshow, can achieve what Netflix has never done: incorporate a diverse cast of Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Charlie Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock inSpider-Man: No Way Homein late 2021 and also will be making an appearance inShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
The appearance signified to audiences that the former Daredevil star of Netflix’s live-actionDaredevilseries had a new lease on life in the MCU. This happened years after the show’s three-season run ended, sparking anticipation that Marvel Studios may revive the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
Marvel president, Kevin Feige, announced this as part of Marvel’s massive Hall H presentation, along with the contents of Phase 5. The return of Cox’s Daredevil served in a supersized 18-episode debut season for Disney+, is one notable arrival. Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk, AKA Kingpin, will also reprise his role.

Echo will be back in Daredevil: Born Again
Hollywood insider, DanielRPK, confirmed thatAlaqua Coxwill return as Maya López inDaredevil: Born Again. Hawkeye introduced audiences to Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American assassin, but that was just the beginning of her story. There are reports that Matt Murdock will return to theEchospinoff series, which Marvel is already working on.

Maya Lopez making a comeback in theDaredevilseries as another MCU character would make sense. The two characters are intimately related in the comics, thus they might already have a relationship by that point in the shared universe. Their romantic relationship is unlikely, but her training can continue after Daredevil’s appearance inEcho.
What to expect from Daredevil: Born Again?
One of the most significant advantages of Marvel Studios’ involvement in the newDaredevilseries is the increased likelihood that prominent MCU characters will appear. Because Marvel TV and Netflix previously had a strained relationship with Marvel Studios, Daredevil’s interactions were confined to characters from other Marvel/Netflix productions. In the upcoming Daredevil reboot, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock will be able to interact with a variety of MCU characters.

Apart from the fact that Daredevil will undoubtedly play a significant role in Echo, it may also link Echo toCaptain America: New World Orderand the remainder of MCU Phase 5.
Daredevil: Born Againwill debut on Disney+ in the spring of 2024.
