Ever since Ryan Reynolds put his own unique spin on Deadpool, the character has gone on to become one of the most popular Marvel characters. His wise-cracking and funny antics have been the character’s major draw for audiences. Hence, it is no surprise that the upcoming third Deadpool film is arguably the most anticipated MCU film in the upcoming slate of films.
While it is not known how Reynolds and the character will factor in the MCU’s future, there are many exciting stories from the comics that the makers can explore. One storyline that proved to be an interesting one was the character’s face-off with Hulk and how the latter becomes integral to Deadpool’s survival.

An Exciting Deadpool vs Hulk Storyline Would Be Great to See in the MCU
Ryan Reynoldsis entering the MCU withDeadpool 3next year. With the movie rumored to be a multiversal adventure, it will be exciting to witness Reynolds’ character voicing his opinions on certain moments in Marvel history. It is not known how his character will factor into the MCU’s future but there are many exciting possibilities now as he is in a larger sandbox.
One particular storyline (viaInstagram) that would be exciting to explore would be Joe Kelly’s run on Deadpool where he has a dangerous encounter with the Hulk. In it, Deadpool’s healing factor has stunted and is further deteriorating due to gamma infection. He has to procure Hulk’s blood to cure the gamma infection that has limited his healing ability.
The much-needed showdown between the two proved to be an epic one in the comics and it would be bold for the MCU to adapt that for the big screen. It would provideMark Ruffalo‘s Hulk something interesting again since he has been criminally neutered and wasted currently. It would also be an exciting arc for Reynolds’ character afterDeadpool 3.

Ryan Reynolds Comments on Taylor Swift’s Rumored Appearance inDeadpool 3
Since the timeDeadpool 3was announced, many people have been speculating on who would appear in the film and what the story of the film was going to be. Recently rumors started swirling that Taylor Swift would be appearing as Dazzler in the film. Now Reynolds has provided a cryptic answer to this particular rumor.
Speaking toThe Vancouver Sun, Reynolds claims that he is well aware of the said rumor. While he did not confirm or deny Swift’s involvement in the film, he concluded that it will all be revealed when the movie comes out next year. He said,
“Yeah, I’ve heard that one,” said Reynolds laughing. “I love it (the gossip). I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.”
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have resumed shooting for the film after putting a hold due to the Hollywood strikes. The highly anticipated film is scheduled as the only MCU theatrical release next year on July 06, 2025.
