What Does Lodestone Do in Deltarune?
Firstly, this item raises your defense by 2 points, which is not a lot, considering you are on Chapter 3 when you get this item, which gives you lots of alternatives at this point. However, the main strength of this weapon lies in its secondary effect.
You get a 5% increase in your TP gain while having this item equipped. TP is the main resource you need to use the various ACTs during many fights. Therefore, since TP is one of the most vital resources in combat, increasing TP gain is a significant buff.
Additionally, the main reason this item shines more is because it does not have any limit on the quantity you can have and equip. So, ideally, you can equip multiple of these onto your characters. This is a good tactic if you plan on doing a pacifist run, as most ACTs cost TP.

How To Get Lodestone in Deltarune
This item can only be attained in Chapter 3 of the game. You will need to reach the Green Room to be able to buy this item. However, this room only becomes available after you complete one round of Tenna’s games during the chapter.
Once you finish a round, you will be given access to the Green Room, where you can stock up on supplies for the next leg of your adventure. Here, you can buy the Lodestone from the vending machine for 60 points.
