Fans have gone wild ever since the rumors about the return of the original Avengers began spreading around the internet. The rumors claim that the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, plans to bring back the original Avengers for a movie in the MCU. So that means, the characters that were killed off earlier will be joining the universe once again.

Many sources have stated that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johannsson will return as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow respectively. Despite the hype, many people have pointed out that Feige is desperately attempting to revive the franchise’s popularity with this move. Unfortunately, Marvel is stuck due to actor Jonathan Majors’ public controversy and since the entire franchise is set up around his character, Kang the Conqueror, things are not looking good.

Thanks toVariety‘s claims, over the past week, there have been some rumors spreading around claiming that the President of Marvel Studios,Kevin Feige, plans to bring back the original Avengers for a Marvel movie, which is expected to beAvengers: Secret Wars(2027). This means that Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Scarlett Johannsson, who left the franchise in 2019, will be rejoining it as their respective characters.

With the concept of multiverse, almost anything is possible in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Some projects in Marvel’s Phase 5 have been a major disappointment for many fans but the upcoming miniseries,Echo, has created some hype with its brutal and violent visuals, and fans are also eagerly waiting forDeadpool 3as Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine has created anticipation.

Actor Jonathan Majors has been embroiled in controversy due to allegations made against him. Due to these allegations, Marvel has been reportedly planning to replace Majors. There are also reports that the studio might completely get rid of his character and replace it with an entirely different villain.

As of now, Majors hasn’t been fired, but fans are worried that there will be an announcement soon. Apart from this, Marvel is also focused onCaptain Marvel‘s (2019) sequel,The Marvels, which will be released in the United States on August 06, 2025
