Sam Raimi, director of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, discusses the Scarlet Witch’s and the titular sorcerer’s differing degrees of strength. He believes that the topic of this power level is more intricate than it seems at first.

Upcoming Marvel superhero film as the direct sequel to Spider-Man: No Way Home.

What can we expect in Doctor Strange 2:

The successor toSpider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, will see the titular sorcerer address the repercussions of his acts. The Master of the Mystics Arts, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, will embark on a multi-universe journey in which he will encounter numerous malevolent versions of himself. Along the process, he’ll have to deal with Wanda Maximoff, who appears to be utilizing her newly acquired talents to resurrect her children Tommy and Billy following the sad end of WandaVision. While it’s unclear whether Scarlet Witch is going to be the film’s main enemy, fans believe she’ll put up a good fight.

Who’s stronger according to Director Sam Raimi:

Raimistated to Fandango that while both heroes are powerful in their own sense, they possess distinct advantages in battle. “Well, I think Wanda’s magic, from Marvel lore, is more powerful than almost any of the other characters in this picture, but Doctor Strange has the knowledge of the mystic arts that Wanda doesn’t have, and he’s got the help of Kamar-Taj,” said Raimi. “If you were to pit them against each other, different altered versions of themselves … there could be a Doctor Strange out there that’s more powerful than our Wanda,” continued Raimi. “Or there could be a Wanda out there who is more powerful than our Wanda here. So, because of these altered versions, it’s all a mixed bag of possibilities,” he continued.

The latest Doctor Strange trailer, which teases the return of two keyWandaVisioncharacters, is generating a storm among fans. In a clip from the teaser, the Scarlet Witch is shown holding her offspring, Billy and Tommy. Wanda seems to be unable to bring her twins back to life, based on the way the footage is cut. This might be because they did not exist when the fake world surrounding Westview crumbled in WandaVision. It’s still unknown how the two boys will play a part in Multiverse of Madness. However, many believe Wanda will try to resurrect her sons using her newly gained talents.
