Mark Wahlberg has portrayed quite some incredible roles throughout his career in Hollywood. These roles have indeed taken a toll on him sometimes mentally and other times physically. Wahlberg had once gotten severely injured during the shooting of the 2006 movieInvincible.

Starring in the movie, Wahlberg portrayed the role of Vince Papale, a bartender who fights to play for the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles in 1976. During the shooting of the movie, a real football player hit and knocked down Wahlberg and was immediately kicked off the set!

During the shooting of the movie, a real-life football player, who was a football player at the nearby University of Delaware, rushed and charged at Wahlberg and knocked him out! As per the IMDB trivia, during the sequence of the Giants’ game, when Wahlberg was running down the sideline, the football player hit and so badly that he knocked him out.

The harrowing thing to note is that the football player was never allowed to be anywhere nearMark Wahlberg! He was told strictly to have no contact with the actor and yet, he hit him hard and knocked him down. As a result, the football player was told to leave the set immediately. The scene where Wahlberg gets knocked out was kept, however, to add to the originality that he was not actually invincible.

Although the actor has relaxed a bit due to his old age, he did confirm that he aims to fast 18 hours a day! An insider close to Wahlberg stated that“I’m trying to share that information with everybody because I’m really, really seeing the benefits and pretty quickly,”for Wahlberg trying to fast 18 hours a day.

The actor is currently attached to 5 other upcoming projects with the movies in different stages of development. As for the 2006 movie,Invincibleis available to stream on Disney+.
