The data shows that the new slow-paced anime,Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is becoming a favorite among fans. It’s doing better than popular anime likeJujutsu KaisenandOne Piece.
Despite its recent popularity,Jujutsu KaisenSeason 2 wasn’t even among the top 10 most-watched anime on Japanese TV.
It didn’t make the list, possibly because it scored lower than AnimatedO-saru no George (Curious George), which had a rating of 2.0.
According to Video Research statistics,Frieren: Beyond Journey’s Endcontinued to outperformOne PieceandJujutsu Kaisen, the margin betweenFrierenanime andJujutsu Kaisenis significant.

However,Jujutsu Kaisenseason 2 can’t even make it to the top 10 most-watched list. The lowest-rated shows wereSoaring Sky! Pretty Curewith 2.8 and AnimatedO-saru no George (Curious George)with 2.0.
Following those wereOne Piece, Crayon Shin-chan, Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Doraemon, Chibi Maruko-chan, Detective Conan,andSazae-san.
These ratings suggest thatFrierenanime could be the best of the year. The fact that it outperformed popular anime likeOne PieceandJujutsu Kaisenis impressive. This indicates thatFrieren: Beyond Journey’s Endhas a dedicated fan base and a substantial viewership.
