The recent chapter 242 ofJujutsu Kaisenis one of the weirdest chapters published in the entire history of the shōnen series. This chapter follows the battle between Sukuna and Takaba, and, as fans know, these two characters have been fighting against each other for quite a while now.

The battle between Kenjaku and Takaba was hinted way earlier in Jujutsu Kaisen

As the battle between Takaba and Kenjaku is getting more intense, we’re slowly seeing the abilities of the Comedian getting revealed one after another. Despite readers’ expectations of this battle being nothing more than a skirmish, Tabaka proves to be a force to reckon with.

Readers will be quite surprised to know that this massive showdown was foreshadowed by the Mangaka ofJujutsu Kaisenway earlier in the series. Chapter 77 of the manga subtly hinted towards this battle, and fans are losing their minds over this.

This chapter features Gojo on stage with Geto. As Takaba can alter reality and the imaginations of his opponent, Kenjaku is utilizing Geto’s memories with Gojo to fulfill Takaba’s dream. Gege Akutami foreshadows the finale of Takaba’s ultimate joke in front of a massive audience in Chapter 77.

That is why even after four chapters, the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku doesn’t look like it has concluded or is close to its end either.

Readers were mindblown after realizing the true abilities of his powers and what they were capable of right from the get-go. Gege Akutami surprised his readers quite well with how Takaba’s powers can be used in the upcoming chapters.
