Trading is finally live in Grow a Garden with the June 11, 2025,Trading and Cooking Update. Trading is a much-requested feature in the popular Tycoon sim on Roblox. Till now, players have relied on the in-game gifting feature. The new system is much more robust, allowing you to look at the details of a trade transaction before you accept it. That said, all Grow a Garden players will need a Trading Ticket to send a trade request.
The Trading Ticket is a new Uncommon-tier gear that you have to purchase from the Gear Shop. This article explains everything you need to know about the Trading Ticket and how to use it to trade in Grow a Garden.
How To Obtain the Trading Ticket in Grow a Garden

Trading Ticket Guide: How To Trade With Other Players in Grow a Garden
Once you have acquired a Trading Ticket, you may now start trading with other players in Grow a Garden. Here is a step-by-step process.
Now you have to wait for the other player to accept the invitation. If they decline your offer, the Trading Ticket will not be used. If they accept, the trade menu will open for both players as shown below.

Players should note that even if a transaction fails, the person who sent the trade request will lose a Trading Ticket.

What Is a Trading Ticket?
It is an Uncommon-tier item in Grow a Garden. Players will need one to send a trade request. you may buy the gear from the default gear shop.
How Much Does the Trading Ticket Cost?
One Trading Ticket costs 100,000 Sheckles at the Gear Shop. You can also pay 19 Robux for it and avoid stock issues.
Can I Trade With Anyone?
You can only trade with players on the same server. Either of you will need to send the other a trading request.
How To Send a Trading Request?
Hold the Trading Ticket gear in your hand and stand near the player you want to trade with. A ‘Send Trade Request’ prompt will appear. Press E or tap to send the request.
