The reason behind this is none other than the singer’s former flame and billionaire singer-songwriter,Taylor Swift. As per the theories, fans have been connecting his current hairstyle to Swift’s re-recorded version of her1989album songNow That We Don’t Talk, which includes the lyrics:
‘You grew your hair long / You got new icons / And from the outside / It looks like you’re tryin’ lives on / I miss the old ways / You didn’t have to change / But I guess I don’t have a say / Now that we don’t talk.’
Considering Swift’s history of penning her songs on the relationships she has had, as well as the fact that Styles cut down his hair so soon after the release of the song, most couldn’t help but speculate that his new hairstyle just might have something to do with his ex-girlfriend.
