How to unlock and fly Hippogriff Mount?
In Hogwarts Legacy, you must complete “The High Keep” main quest to unlock and fly on Hippogriff and Thestral Mount. The mission is very engaging, full of Hogwarts Legacy Lore and useful loot for players to collect. The quest requirements are:
During “The High Keep” quest, you need to help Natty investigate a case of beast poaching at the ruins of a castle.
When you arrive at Folbarton Castle, you learn that poachers captured two Hippogriffs, Highwing and Onyx. Ensure you check all the chests and side rooms during the quest. If you want to speed the quest up, you’re able to use theDisillusionment spellto sneak your way to the end. You’ll eventually start a cutscene with Highwing the Hippogriff and unlock the new mount!
Now, all you need to do is go to your gear inventory, and on the right, in the mounts slot, you should be able to pick your new Hippogriff! Flying Mounts can travel on the ground and fly.
How to unlock Thestral Mount and Onyx Hippogriff?

How to unlock Graphorn Mount?
In Hogwarts Legacy, you must complete the “San Bakar’s Trial” main quest to unlock and explore with Gryphon. It’s forty-four mission and fourth trial in the main story. The mission is very engaging, full of Hogwarts Legacy Lore and useful loot for players to collect. The quest requirements are:
During the “San Bakar’s Trial” quest, players meet with Professor Fig and try to find a way to open the passage to the Pensive chamber. It turns out only a Gruphon is capable of opening it.
When you arrive and tame the Gryphon, you ride on it back to a chamber and discover a terrible truth in San Bakar’s Pensive memory. Ensure you check all the chests and side rooms during the quest. You’ll eventually finish the quest, start a cutscene with Gryphorn and unlock the new mount!
Now, all you need to do is go to your gear inventory, and on the right, in the mounts slot, you should be able to pick your new Gryphorn! It is, as of now, the only land mount and also the only beast players can use in combat by charging into enemies and dealing considerable damage.
