Variety back in 2017 released an exclusive report of his s*xual misconduct allegations in which a woman claimed that the actor made her uncomfortable by flashing her during her teenage years.

Back in 1980, Cori Thomas met the renowned actor,Dustin Hoffmanwhen she was a 16-year-old high school student. Their encounter was not a coincidence as she was a classmate of his daughter Karina at the United Nations International School in New York.
Being an aspiring actor, she enjoyed his company as Hoffman spent a Sunday afternoon with the girls. They went to different places like the Drama Bookshop where he bought her a“copy of Edward Albee’s ‘The Zoo Story.'”They also had dinner at Jim McMullin’s where she ate veal piccata for the first time.
Hoffman then took them to a hotel near the house that he and his first wife, Anne Byrne had shared. Recalling her time, she stated,
“This was at first one of the greatest days of my life. One of my idols was spending time with me and talking with me respectfully.”
Thomas’ parents were supposed to pick her up at the restaurant but they were later informed to arrive at the hotel where the trio was present.

After arriving at Hoffman’s hotel room,“Either Karina or Dustin suggested that [Karina] should go home”to Hoffman and Byrne’s house nearby. After his daughter left, Thomas was left alone with him.
He eventually went to the restroom and after a while,
“He came out of the bathroom with a towel at first wrapped around him, which he dropped.”
She was horrified by what was happening at the time,
“He was standing there naked. I think I almost collapsed, actually. It was the first time I had ever seen a naked man. I was mortified. I didn’t know what to do. And he milked it. He milked the fact that he was naked. He stood there. He took his time.”
After eventually putting on his robe, he sat on the bed and asked her to massage his feet which she complied. She was blanked at the moment and didn’t know what exactly to do. She continued to massage him while he kept on telling her,
“I’m naked. Do you want to see?”
She pretended to ignore him and continued to wait for her parents to arrive and the situation eventually came to an end when her parents called her to announce their arrival. She was embarrassed by the whole unpleasant experience and didn’t even tell her parents and Karina (his daughter) back then.

While working inKramer vs. Krameralongside Meryl Streep, he allegedly assaulted the actress who addressed the controversy during her interview with theNew York Times.
As the duo was working on a particular scene, she claimed that her co-star “just slapped [her]”even though it was the first take of that sequence. She further added,
“And you see it in the movie. It was overstepping.”
It was alleged that theRain Manstar not only slapped the Oscar-winning actress but also made hurtful remarks about her late boyfriend, John Cazale, who passed away in 1978.
