Joe Manganiello Lost His Superman Role To Henry Cavill
Joe Manganiellohas been appearing in several big-budget movies throughout his career. However, he simply seems to be failing at fulfilling his desire to appear as a leading superhero in the DC or Marvel universe. Although he was previously chosen to appear as Superman in Zack Snyder’sMan Of Steel, Manganiello still lost the opportunity despite having everything that is required to be a superhero.
When Zack Snyder was preparing for his 2013 debut with DC, he had Joe Manganiello as his second choice for Kal-El, with his first choice beingHenry Cavill. “I love Joe too, by the way. Really he was the only other guy I was thinking of, to be honest, other than Henry.” Snyder stated. He further added, “I think Henry just has this innocence too, he has both, which is tricky. Superman needs the teeniest bit of that.”

Thus, eventually, Joe Manganiello was replaced by Henry Cavill to appear as Superman in Zack Snyder’sMan Of Steel. Further, Manganiello was offered a brief consolation role in Snyder’sJustice Leagueas Deathstroke, due to the rapport he had with the acclaimed filmmaker. However, despite the loss of a career-changing opportunity, Manganiello appeared to be at ease with the situation.
