Jennifer Lawrence Demanded A Tent And Kardashians Show onMother!Sets
Red Sparrowactress shares a great affection for the Kardashians and their popular show Keeping Up With the Kardashians. It was for the love of the show, that madeJennifer Lawrenceset a strange condition on the film set ofMother!She asked the crew to set up a unique tent for her, with a laptop on which she would watch back-to-back episodes ofKeeping Up with the Kardashians.
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon onThe Tonight Show, she said,
“I had to do this one scene, and I hadn’t gone that dark before, I had never done something that horrifying. I started getting scared a couple of days before so I was like, ‘I need a tent to keep away from all the extras because I didn’t know what I would do.’ It was just a computer that was playing the Kardashians and had headshots, and it also had notes to me from them that I had written.”
Lawrence placed the condition to maintain her mental health as she was working on dark content in the film. She shared that the plot deeply impacted her, thus she needed some respite from the shoot.

Jennifer Lawrence is a Huge Fan Of The Kardashians
Jennifer Lawrence has been very vocal about her friendship with Kris Jenner. The actress is very fond of the Kardashians and their show. Silver Linings Playbook actress even featured in one episode of the show,Legally Brunette, the 5th episode of Season 16 in May 2019.
In this episode ofKUWTK, Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick were seen attempting to reach out to Jenner via FaceTime. Instead, Jennifer Lawrence picked up the call and said,
“This is Jennifer f***in’ Lawrence, that’s who you’re talking to.”
When Disick again asked to talk to Jenner instead, Lawrence said she is the new Kris. She also teased them saying she is going to be real to them and that they wouldn’t be having so much fun if they were with her in person. She ended the call by telling Khloé that she is very proud of her.
Mother!was released in 2017 and it is streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.
