During the latest episode of the podcast, The Hot Mic, John Rocha discussed about the latest installment in theTransformersfranchise with Jeff Sneider. The host asserted that the latest film might be on the right path and can breathe new life into the franchise.

“I wouldn’t say overwhelmingly but certainly positive reactions, the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Jeff… A lot of people were concerned about that film coming out, ‘Is it going to be good, it’s not going to be good,’ and it seems like across the board majority of the critics are saying this is a good return to form that somehow mixes in action from Michael Bay with the heart from Bumblebee,”Rocha said.

In response, Jeff Sneider said the film looks different from its predecessors, providing viewers with something new to hold on to. He says there’s some new twist in the new film, including the introduction of Transformers in animal forms. He goes on to say, “If it even sniffs Bumblebee territory, I’ll be happy because I liked Bumblebee a lot.”
