Thanks to the incredible connection between Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, fans speculated that there is something romantic going on between the two. However, we now know that their relationship is purely platonic and the strong bond between them is simply due to them being good friends.
Ana de Armas and Chris Evans have collaborated on multiple projects in the film industry. Undoubtedly, they know a lot about each other. But alas, when they were quizzed about each other, Ana de Armas could not answer a very basic question about Chris Evans, which left her flustered and freaking out.

Chris EvansandAna de Armashave starred in a total of three movies together –Knives Out(2019),The Gray Man(2022), andGhosted(2023). Throughout these years of knowing each other, Evans and de Armas have managed to build a strong friendship. Therefore, it came as a bit of a surprise when Armas couldn’t answer a basic question about her friend.
Evans and de Armas appeared for Vanity Fair’s ‘How Well They Know Each Other’ test and let’s just say…not that well. Evans asked de Armas an“easy”question –“What year was I voted the sexiest man alive?”
In full confidence, de Armas blurted out,“This year, 2023.”Of course, she was wrong as the correct answer is 2022. Evans quips,“It was 2022. It’s a simple friendship.”His co-star couldn’t help but get flustered, hiding an awkward laugh behind the placard, before explaining her answer. She stated,“But wait a second…No, no, no, but it’s still going. There’s no one new so far.”
Evans being the gentleman he is, decided to give de Armas half a point for her answer, marking the first point to go on the scoreboard. Out of fourteen combined questions, Evans could answer two correctly and de Armas won the round with a total of 4 points.

Chris Evans & Ana de Armas aren’t in a High Maintenance Friendship
With both Evans and de Armas being popular stars, one might think that their relationship could get a little high-maintenance at some point. However, de Armas has said loud and clear that their friendship is absolutely easygoing.
During the premiere ofGhosted,de Armas told The Hollywood Reporter,
“We genuinely liked each other and we’re just very easygoing people, both of us, and we’re just very transparent. It’s not a relationship that you have to work hard to maintain. The friendship is there. It’s like chemistry onscreen, it’s there or it’s not.”
Evans also stated that he had a“reliable”connection with de Armas and that she“is an excellent friend and a dependable professional.”Unfortunately, their recent film,Ghosted,was met with horrible reviews with critics calling it the Worst Movie of the Year. Yikes!
