Hollywood parties are known to be a wild event and are usually the mother of all controversies and rumors. Back in 2015,Joaquin Phoenixwas onJimmy Kimmel Livetalking about his then-recent Golden Globe nominations. When the topic of ‘after-parties’ came up, theGladiatorstar had a hilarious yet embarrassing story to share.
“Last year Diddy had an after-party and we went there.”
Not knowing what to expect, Phoenix took his mother along with him and was left stunned when he discovered the party was an‘overtly s*xual’kind of party. Despite the surprise, they stayed and were having a fun time, until an even more surprising event took place.
“My mom can like buggy… Doesn’t drink but likes to dance. Like she sets off the dance floor… So the DJ was spinning and nobody was dancing. She like got out there and she started dancing and I walked out from it. I came back in and she was dancing with Usher.. but kind of like sexy.”
While he laughed about it, it must certainly have been a wild night for him to see his mother with the R&B artistUsherturning the night into an event that will surely be talked about often.

While talking toJimmy Kimmelabout his 5th Golden Globe nomination, the actor exclaimed that he was excited to go to the ceremony since Poehler would be the one hosting it.
He even stated that he finds her very attractive. Unfortunately for him, Poehler was in a relationship at that time. Even though he is happy and committed, fans can’t help but exclaim how an extraordinary event it would have been.
