Moon Knightaired on Disney+ in March 2022, lasting six episodes, and introduced the world to Isaac’s titular superhero.Moon Knight‘s first season also included May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Khalid Abdalla, and Gaspard Ulliel in addition to Isaac. This six-episode self-titled narrative was first thought to be a limited series, but a last-minute modification to label Episode 6 the show’sseason finalerevealed that Marvel Studios intends to air a sequel.
Whether or not a second season ofMoon Knightis made, Isaac is expected to return with the stained white cape and cowl some time in the future. But there are no imminent plans to create another season of episodes, according to reports.
Moon Knightwill soon join the MCU in the upcoming Phase
Moon Knight Season 1didn’t quite wrap up all the loose threads. While Spector defeated Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow, the post-credits sequence revealed Jake Lockley, a third, more dangerous identity within Spector’s head.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige discussed everything Moon Knight in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, while also promising more of the character. The Marvel Studios President went on to say that Moon Knight is yet another example of a freshly introduced hero who they like, and he even hinted at Marc Spector’s future exploits. He said,
“It makes me excited that people will, I hope, see that movie and then go back and revisit those shows on Disney+. The fun thing about streaming is they are there forever, and people can keep re-exploring them. Moon Knight, same thing. I think there’s a future for that character as we move forward.”
Throughout the duration of the Multiverse Saga, Marvel Studios will continue to produce and premiere new MCU shows on Disney+, with seven projects announced for Phase 5, including the second seasons ofWhat If…?andLoki.Secret Invasion, which will star Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in a narrative about Skrulls stealthily invading Earth, is slated to be the first live-action MCU series to debut on Disney+ in 2023.

Kevin Feige does not want to be embarrassed byMoon Knight
As exciting asMoon KnightSeason 2sounds, Kevin Feige will not give a green signal to season two if the story is not worth it. In an interview with comicbooks, he revealed that if he is embarrassed about the show, it will never come out.
“Truthfully, it’s about the story. Is there a story worth telling? Is it interesting? Will I feel embarrassed about it when it comes out? Is there something worth pouring everything you have into? With Moon Knight, that was very much about that. It’s creating a structure so that every morning when the alarm went off, I couldn’t wait to get to the set because I wanted to try something different.”

For many, it’s difficult to discern where Moon Knight fits into the larger Multiverse Saga. That’s very understandable. After all, the character is generally unrelated to the Multiverse or time travel.
Regardless, the MCU loves making adjustments. Kang the Conqueror, for example, has no link to any of theSecret Warsevents in the comics, yet he’s where the 2026 blockbuster film will lead to. So, how will they connect Marc Spector to something as monumental as Kang? The theories and possibilities are endless with MCU. And if they know how to do something, it is connecting the dots, and they do it well.
