Lies of Pis a Souls-like darkPinocchiofantasy game that was released back in September this year and has been pretty successful in getting the attention of gamers in a year filled with the biggest game releases. The game is a dark take on the story ofPinocchioby Carlo Collodi and it seems like it’s not over yet.
The game is widely appreciated for its unique take on the classic tale, making it special with unique gameplay mechanics and a gripping storyline. The post-credits scene inLies of Ponly added to the player’s curiosity about what could happen next after the main story and according to a new job listing on publisher Neowiz’s official website, a DLC is coming soon.
Lies of P DLC is Confirmed
Lies of Phas been well-received by fans and has captivated them with its strong narrative elements and exciting combat. The players have wanted a DLC since the launch of the game and they might just get it sometime in the future. As spotted by Okami Games onX, formerly Twitter, Neowiz has listed a job on its official job board.

The job is listed in Korean but the translation confirms that Neowiz is looking for a quest planner and the DLC is planned for production so it could be in development already. There are some other responsibilities mentioned and a summary of the game, including making a twisted version of the Pinocchio fairy tale. A few other important positions are for the content planner and scenario writer.
The game’s director, Director Choi Ji-Won had already said that he wants to continue the story in Krat but it depends on the game’s success and it looks like he will continue with that plan. It is not yet clear what theLies of PDLC could entail or how it would take the story further, fans theorize that it will have something to do with the post-credits scene in the game.
Post-Credits Scene in Lies of P
The post-credits scene inLies of Phas been much talked about for a while now and fans have been discussing how the story could go further. The cutscene in the game shows Paracelcus, one of the main characters of the game talking to a mysterious woman on the phone, reporting about what had happened in the city of Krat. After both are done talking, Paracelcus says:
“I will find her, for sure. Another key of ours: Dorothy.”

Then a shot of Krat is shown and then Dorothy fromThe Wizard of Ozwalks in striped socks and red shoes, and humming, before she stops and clicks her heels three times. It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that hints at the next chapter in the game, seemingly the DLC if not the sequel. If the DLC does follow that plot thread it could tie the base game and post-credits scene together and pave the way for a sequel.
Any other details about the “planned DLC” haven’t been known yet and Neowiz too hasn’t officially confirmed that an expansion is planned forLies of Por is in development. However, a development letter was released last month from the developers stating:
“In addition, we will be providing a roadmap of the contents planned for Lies of P as soon as it is ready.”
