All actors have to face awkward situations at some point or the other. Pushing out their inhibitions and insecurities they have to step out of their comfort zones for numerous roles many times in their career. And it is no surprise that female actors face a harder time since they often are forced to do things that challenge their boundaries and personal comfort.
Known for her fearless acting,Aubrey Plazaonce revealed an uncomfortable and awkward experience she had to go through on the sets ofThe To Do List, which really shed light on the challenges faced by women in the film industry.
Talking about her experience she described it as a scene where the character she was playing had to ‘pleasure herself’.
“In my head, I envisioned a nice scene where you just see my hand slowly go out of frame. That’s what I thought I was going into. But then when I showed up, the camera was mounted on the ceiling. I was in my underwear and a Clinton t-shirt.”
Jokingly calling the crew members a ‘bunch of old men smoking’, she recalled how she wasn’t told beforehand about the scene.
“It was a full body shot. And I asked the director, ‘What should I do?,’ ‘M*sturbate — like it says in the script.’ And then I did that.”
Aubrey Plaza’s revelation is among the many other actresses, who have spoken up about similar experiences on set.

Aubrey Plaza Joins Marvel Cinematic Universe
Aubrey Plaza would soon be making her Marvel debut with the new upcoming seriesAgatha: Coven of Chaos. TheParks and Recreationstar would be playing a very pivotal role in the series. A spin-off ofWandaVision, Marvel is heavily guarding all information related to the series.
An extraordinary actress, it would be interesting to see what role Aubrey Plaza plays and how she would enlighten it with her terrific acting talent. While not much has been revealed by Marvel, even Plaza has been keeping mum on the news.
Expected to release at the end of 2023,Agatha: Coven of Chaoswould be streaming on Disney+.
