Recently released bookMCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios, written by Joanna Robinson, Dave Gonzales, and Gavin Edwards says that only two actors got the full script forAvengers: Infinity War, Iron Man’sRobert Downey Jr.and Captain America’s Chris Evans.
“They let me read it, but you gotta get fussy. The level of secrecy has only increased over the years, so worried about leaks. So, you have kind of put your foot down and say, ‘Give me the script.’ …I took one home. You’re not supposed to, but I took one home. This is actually going to get me in trouble.‘”
Earlier, Joe Russo said onRotten Tomatoes, “RDJ was probably the only one to read the entire script” and added that Chris Evans might have read the whole thing.
Marvel Studios might felt that they were the most trustworthy actors, or that they needed to know the full story in order to give their best performances.

Benedict Cumberbatch also Claimed to have Read the Full Script, But Is It True?
Benedict Cumberbatch has once revealed that he was one of the few people allowed to read the entire script forAvengers: Infinity War.
He toldThe Independent, “I was allowed to read the whole script so I do know what is happening, but I can’t tell you about it.”
However, Joe Russo said that he thinks Cumberbatch “got the scripts that included his scenes only.” So, didBenedict Cumberbatchlie about reading the full script? Not sure enough.
