Netflix landed another superhit series in November 2022 with the horror comedyWednesday. The series went on to be one of the biggest hits on the streaming platform. It overtookStranger Thingsas the most-viewed series in its first week of release by scoring over 400 million hours of view time within the first week of its release. Given the massive success of the show, there is no doubt that the streaming giant would renew the series for another season.

Amazon May SnatchWednesdaySeason 2From Netflix
The Netflix show featuringJenna Ortega,Wednesday,is produced by MGM Television. Netflix took over the project planned by the American filmmaker Tim Burton and creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar in February 2021. After this, the show went into production under MGM Television.

Although nothing is confirmed yet, many believe that Prime Video would not hesitate to take over one of the biggest shows of its rival streaming platform.
