During an interview, Neil Jordan, the director ofInterview with the Vampireshared that neither the original novelist Anne Rice nor the lead actor Brad Pitt entertained the fact of Tom Cruise’s involvement in the movie. Jordan went on to add that Rice conveyed her strong feelings against the cast of Cruise and deemed Jordan’s decision perplexing.
