In this day and age when everyone just runs for the big bucks and big-budget blockbusters, it’s refreshing to see stars like Lily James take the alternate approach and extrapolate her career through small-screen entertainment and indie films in the industry. One incident, in particular, was the time when she met a random fortune-teller, and their interaction spooked her out.

And throughout her numerous interactions, one sticks out for her in particular.
In a past interview withThe Guardian, theCinderellastar talked about a lot of things ranging from her career thus far in the industry to global conspiracies and much more. Here, she also revealed the fact that she’s very gullible with these topics, which leaves her prone to believe them sometimes. This was what had her frightened when she was walking on Venice Beach when suddenly, she was approached by a fortune-teller who seemed to know everything about her. But before she could be pulled into the whole skit, she was saved by her companion that day. She said:
“She came up to me and” –Jamesalmost shrieks at the memory – “she said some shit to me that was so right, it was terrifying. But immediately the person I was with said, ‘Come on,Lily, she knows who you are’ which was true, maybe.”
While it’s refreshing to see that the actress has a very open mind about the world, sometimes, it’s better to doubt something that seems too good to be true.
What Else Is Lily James Known For?
Apart from the classic crime action film with Ansel Elgort, the actress is also known for portraying Lady Rose MacClare in the classic English period drama seriesDownton Abbey. And in her latest TV series with MCU star Sebastian Stan, the star also portrayed the infamous Pamela Anderson in the first season ofPam and Tommy.
But by far, her most iconic role has to be playing one of the most recognizable Disney princesses in the 2015 live-action remake ofCinderellaalongside Richard Madden as her Prince Charming along with a star cast worthy of a classic Disney film.
