Alan Wake 2has only been released for a few days, but it has already taken gamers by storm, as many have already logged in and taken on the horrors that await them. This has led Remedy Studios, the developers ofAlan Wake 2, to create an escape room, which has been taken on by a few content creators.

Alan Wake 2’s Escape the Dark Room was a completely unique experience.

Thanks to a video posted to the officialAlan Wake 2Twitter/Xpage, we can see short clips of Jacksepticeye, GabSmolders, IAm8BitRyan, and Justbazzzz as they take on this horrifying challenge. Even though this looks like a unique experience, sadly, only content creators will gain access to it, and gamers are annoyed.

Why Did Remedy Studios Create This Alan Wake 2 Escape Room Experience for Content Creators Only?

In this day and age, content creators are the new kind of celebrities, which has led Remedy to create this experience for them, for both the enjoyment of these content creators and also to help advertise the game. Due to this, fans of these content creators will pay attention and potentially purchase the game themselves.

Even though this experience has only been opened up to content creators, it is highly likely that videos of their attempts will most likely surface in the coming days, as the video that has been posted to theAlan Wake 2Twitter/X account is only a behind-the-scenes video.

From what we can see within this behind-the-scenes video, there are two players who are taking part in the escape room at one time, one taking part in the experience itself, and one using a computer to guide them through the horrors that hide around each corner.

This would explain why this has only been aimed at content creators, especially those who may already know each other, as they can work better as a team. Even though this experience looks amazing and has received a lot of high praise from these content creators, gamers are worried they will never get to experience it, and this could only be a content creator escape room.

Why Are Gamers Unhappy With the Alan Wake 2 Escape Room Only Being Available for Content Creators?

Since the behind-the-scenes video has been released, many gamers have viewed the video and have become quite jealous of the fact that these content creators could potentially be the only people who will be able to experience this unique escape room.

So far, there have been some fans of theAlan Wakefranchise who have already begun to comment on the video, saying it “should have been made for everyone“. This is because, usually, with events like this, they will only be experienced by a select few content creators and then vanish without a trace.

This tends to leave a rather negative feeling for many gamers, as they would love to take part in an opportunity like this but sadly do not get the opportunity to do so. Because of this, many members of the gaming community will feel left out, whereas if this escape room became available for all after a limited amount of time, it could lead to a better response from fans.

At the time of writing, we do not know whether or not this escape room will become available to the public, but it would be a missed opportunity if it didn’t, as many in the gaming community would jump at the chance for an experience like this, especially after experiencing the game itself.
