Saturday Night Live is an iconic show that has launched the careers of some of Hollywood’s top comedians. While it’s popularity has wavered over the years, its best skits still find a wide audience on the internet. Now, people can’t stop watching Saturday Night Live’sSquid Gamespoof video. The video, which stars Saturday Night Live member Pete Davidson and Academy Award Winning actor Rami Malek, is a spoof done in the style of a country music video. It plays off ofSquid Game‘s booming popularity and the pop/country fuse that has dominated country radio in recent years.WATCH THE HILARIOUS VIDEO BELOW:

Squid Gamehas gone on to be one of the top watched series in Netflix’s history. The show’s popularity was unexpected, but has prompted the streaming giant to take a longer look at foreign imports. Especially those from South Korea. Korean cinema made major waves in Hollywood recently when Bong Joon-Ho’sParasitewent on to become the first ever foreign language film to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
Rami Malek, who is riding high off the success ofNo Time To Die, fits in with the comedic cast perfectly. He and Pete Davidson, who is primarily known for his “offensive” style of dark humor, capture the style and mannerisms of the modern, male country singer in the sub genre of music that is often referred to as “Bro Country.” There is a lot of greatness happening in this video. Not only are the costumes and set design spot on, but the song is actually catchy and the lyrics are perfect. The video’s use of the robotic girl from the Red Light, Green Light segment ofSquid Gamereally sells the gimmick. This is one of the best skits to come from the late night comedy show in a long time.
