Joseph Quinn Could Join the Cast of A Quiet Place: Day One
Joseph Quinnmight have landed the next big role of his career. According to Deadline, Joseph Quinn could star in the upcoming spin-off of the popular horror filmA Quiet Place.
Earlier theBlack PantherstarLupita Nyong’owas in talks to join the spin-off. Quinn would reportedly join the Oscar winner as lead forA Quiet Place: Day One. While Quinn has starred in the horror filmOverload, Nyong’o has also worked in several horror films.
Nyong’o is considered a great choice for the film, looking at her performance in horror films likeUSandLittle Monsters. The details about their characters are not available yet. However, both are expected to be cast as the lead in the upcoming prequel.
Michael Sarnoski will direct and write the film, which will be based on the idea of John Krasinski’sA Quiet Place.A Quiet Place: Day Oneis expected to set up a universe for the franchise. And the leads of the previous two films, Emily Blunt and Krasinski would likely not reprise their roles.

A Quiet Place: Day One Could Reveal the Origin of the Creatures
A Quiet Place: Day Onewill be the third film in the franchise. Although not many details about the film are available, it is expected to be a prequel. The film may focus on the origin of the creatures that haunt the world.
The film was first announced in late 2020. However, it was delayed after Jeff Nichols exited the project. Michael Sarnoski then joined the film as director. Although the 2020 sequel did represent day one from the lead character’s perspective, nothing much was revealed about the arrival or origin of the monstrous creatures.
The original cast ofA Quiet Placeis not expected to join the spin-off. But John Krasinski is working onA Quiet Place Part 3with Emily Blunt. John Krasinski announced the film during Paramount investor day in February 2022.
The Officestar is once again expected to direct the film.A Quiet Placeis based in a world where monstrous creatures have taken over. They are blind and use sound to track their prey. The previous films followed the Abbott family trying to survive in the post-apocalyptic era.
A Quiet Place: Day Oneis set to release on 22 August 2025.
