After a very successful and very controversial first season of Marvel Studios’ web seriesShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law,there were a lot of talks about the performance of the show. The show was a critical and commercial success as it showcased Tatiana Maslany as the lead, playing the role of Dr. Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, who is an advocate that specializes in tracking cases that deal with superhuman clients.

And despite all the success, this was also one of those few controversial shows made by Marvel Studios that fans had strong opinions about, especially the one scene where Walters is seen openly twerking with Megan Thee Stallion. But despite all of it, fans and audiences alike are now surprised beyond belief that the visual effects done in this show are getting nominated for an award dedicated to honoring quality VFX work of the industry.
She-Hulk’s VFX Have Been Nominated For An Award!
Despite all the praise thatShe-Hulk: Attorney at Lawhas received for finally bringing something different and unique to the web series scene that had been set up by Marvel Studios, one thing that most fans will agree on is the fact that the visual effects of the show were lacking, to say the least. From below-average execution in many scenes during the entirety of the show’s runtime to the infamous twerking scene in the show with Platinum Record holder Megan Thee Stallion have been a controversial topic.
And despite all of this, the news comes from the Visual Effects Society, which has reported that the show led byTatiana Maslanyhas been nominated for an award under the “Outstanding Animated Character In An Episode, Commercial Or Real-Time Project”.

And when the fans as well as others found out that with this level of work put behind the show, it still has been nominated for an award, they decided to voice their opinions on Twitter, where the reactions were both supportive as well as negative, mostly comical and mocking the decision of the Visual Effects Society, suspecting that Disney had pulled some strings to get the show nominated.

Why She-Hulk Works Despite Inconsistencies?
Despite some of its controversial and disappointing details, the show is still regarded as one of the most unique and funny takes on the superhero genre. The series doesn’t just break the general norms of superhero shows of the past but also breaks the fourth wall often times to make even Deadpool green with envy. This, combined with the fact that the show is funny as hell is also one of the reasons why it works so well with the audience who wanted something different from the typical.
