Since the double strike of writers and actors is going on, many actors have halted their work, which has hampered the production of the upcoming series.
Silo features Rebecca Ferguson as the lead protagonist. After exiting Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible, Ferguson was supposed to return with a bang with her upcoming series, but now it seems like fans have to wait a little longer to witness Ferguson once again.

The ongoing Hollywood strike has been a topic of conservation these days, as it has been severely affecting the anticipated shows. Following the strike, many upcoming movies and series have been put on hold as writers and actors refused to work until their demands were met.
Apple TV’s hit drama series Silo has also been put on hold due to the strike. The previous season of the series was well acclaimed by the fans, and the second season ofSilowas highly anticipated.

The series featuresRebeca Fergusonin the lead role alongside Rashida Jones, and David Oyelowo. The first season of the series premiered on July 09, 2025.

Rebecca Ferguson might have to wait to make a blastful return
Rebecca Ferguson has recently been a part of one of the hit movies of the year,Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1.The movie is doing well at the box office and is also giving tough competition to the two most highly anticipated movies of the year,OppenheimerandBarbie.
For those who haven’t watched the movie yet, spoilers are ahead. In the film, Ferguson reprises her role as Ilsa Faust, who is an ally of Ethan Hunt, portrayed by action star Tom Cruise. The actress’s role was well appreciated; however, it wasn’t meant to last long.
In the movie, Ferguson is killed by the antagonist, marking the end of her character, Ilsa. Though her journey in the Mission Impossible series has ended, the actress certainly has many more chances to demonstrate her acting skills. Ferguson certainly would have come with a bang with her upcoming series, but due to the indefinite Hiatus,Silomight face a delay.
