Marvel’s shows have become quite the phenomenon in the massively successful franchise. Even though many would say that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not been doing as well as it has in the past, the one fact that is undeniable is that the TV series by it have become much anticipated and loved, being a unique and successful concept.

WhileLoki, WandaVision, andMoon Knighthave made fans obsess loved the storylines and anticipate the arrival of the next episodes and seasons, it is unfortunate that some of these series have not been able to get the same amount of attention, from both audiences and the studio. The latest example to the seemly ever-growing list is the upcomingMarvelDisney+ series,Echo, featuring Alaqua Cox as the titular character herself, who last appeared in Jeremy Renner’sHawkeye. While there was quite a lot of hype surrounding the series at the time of its announcement, soon after the Renner and Hailee Steinfeld series, this seems to have died down quite a lot. To add to this, the only news that is heard about the series is negative, making audiences seriously question whether it will be good or not.

Sources close to#Echohave confirmed that the MCU series will consist of FIVE episodes that are approximately an hour long each.

The most recent addition to this is even more concerning. On top of a lot of behind-the-scenes news about the almost being discarded due to it being satisfactory enough for the MCU, It has recently been announced that the series will no longer be its originally announced length, which was six episodes, and will now only feature five. It was also announced that each episode will be around an hour long and all the episodes will be released at the same time. As soon as this news hit the internet, fans were quick to go on to Twitter to express how they felt about this. Many were quite concerned as to how this massive, hour-long cut would affect the general storyline and passing of the series, fearing this decision would only make a show, that is already rumored to be under the level of what the MCU expected to be good, more worse than it is.

If they’re releasing all episodes at once, I say just keep the sixth episode in.

Can’t get pumped for any marvel projects they have dropped & dropped & dropped & dropped the ball so many times in the past 4 years they are really sucking a$$ right now. Gonna wait & just watch to see if it’s good.

They cut one entire episode? Like an approximated 1 hour long episode? This is… unusual to say the least, cutting that much content of a show.

I wasn’t even aware this is coming out tf?

5 episodes and an hour long, interesting. Now hopefully its actually treated like teleivison and not a movie split into parts and a random episode format is chosen.

Some fans were confused at the fact that if the studio was releasing the series all at once anyway, why not just put out the sixth episode as well? Some even added that they find it difficult to get excited about Marvel projects now as they tend to get disappointing updates like this that lead them to lose all interest in the franchise. Some have stated that they will not be watching this series solely because of how it has been painted long before its release.
