Charlie Cox’s upcoming MCU show,Daredevil: Born Againhas garnered abundant hype following the inclusion of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher in the series. But it seems that, unlike Bernthal, other fan-favorites from the Netflix show, including Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, will not be returning in the upcoming Disney Plus show.

And following the news of the beloved actors not being included in the main cast, fans have been crying foul over this decision, considering they were an integral factor in the Netflix show’s success.

According to the new reports, it seems that Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll, who portrayed the characters of Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, will not be returning to the upcoming Disney Plus show. And even though many fans were happy regarding the inclusion of The Punisher in the upcoming show, a major portion of the fandom wasn’t quite relish by the idea of leaving the key characters behind. And following this, many have been crying foul over this decision and have shared their distaste for it.

Tragic. I hope anyone who chooses to watch it enjoys it, but I won’t be participating in the viewing. Both of them are as much apart of the world as the main actor, and without them, it will feel hollow.

And it appears that it isn’t only the fandom who would have loved to see the beloved characters reprise their role again, as Charlie Cox previously expressed his desire to work with them again.

Charlie Cox wanted to work again with Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll
The characters of Foggy Nelson and Karen Page played a substantial part in the success of the Netflix series and according toCharlie Cox, both Henson, and Woll were the heart of the show. And while previously speaking with Variety, the Matt Murdock actor expressed his want to work with them again in the future. And following the recent news, it’s reasonable to assume that the actor wouldn’t be quite relished by their exclusion from the show. He said,
“It was an absolute delight to work with everyone on all of those shows at Netflix. They were the beating heart of all of those shows. I would be honored and thrilled to work with any of them again.”
