TheIn Timeactor recently talked about the potential movie during an interview with Rolling Stone. He shared that he could return as Thomas Shelby in the movie only“if there’s more story there.”The actor said that he would love to play the complex character, but the next project has to be right.
“I’d love to do it, but it has to be right,”he said during his interview. While Murphy seems skeptical about the movie, thePeaky Blinderscreator has reportedly said that the script for the film is almost done, and they are planning to start filming soon as well.
He also stated that he has been planning to film the series in Digbeth, Birmingham. As fans are eagerly waiting for Thomas Shelby to make his way toward the big screen, Steven Knight has shared that the filming forPeaky Blindersmovie could start in 2023, and the film could release in 2024.

Alfie Solomons made a surprising return in the fifth season of the show after he was presumed dead in the season 4 finale.
And his brief appearance in the sixth and final season of the show also became his final appearance. The creator has shared that he did not plan to continue with the character after he died in season 4. However, he changed his mind considering the fans’ and the actor’s love for Alfie Solomons.
