Mark Wahlberg Wasn’t Pleased With Tom Cruise’s Comparison

Mark Wahlberg wasn’t quite happy with what Tom Cruise had to say about his job. Unimpressed with how the actor blatantly compared acting with military training, Wahlberg coyly trolled Cruise without using his name. During an interview withThe Wrap,Wahlberg stated,

“For actors to sit there and talk about ‘Oh I went to SEAL training,’ and I slept on the — I don’t give a fck what you did. You don’t do what these guys did. Continuing further, without using names,Mark Wahlbergclearly referred to the media dust-up over Tom Cruise. Without specifically addressing Cruise’s comments, the actor made it very clear that there is no comparison between acting and military training. No matter how difficult the conditions, filmmaking, and soldiering are not the same.

“I don’t give a sht if you get your ass busted. You get to go home at the end of the day. You get to go to your hotel room. You get to order fcking chicken. Or your steak. Whatever the f*ck it is.”

Later on, when his comments made headlines, Mark Wahlberg addressed his statement and clarified that it wasn’t a dig at Tom Cruise. But, the damage was already done, and that’s probably a reason why you’ll never see them together in a movie again.
